LAHORE: Sindh Government has lifted the ban on Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan’s entry in Sindh province on the directive of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah talking media here on Sunday said Imran Khan has been telephoned and invited to visit Sindh.He said ban on Imran Khan’s entry into Sindh was imposed in view of the recent tragic incidents in Karachi.
Qaim Ali Shah said Sindh Government will welcome Imran Khan and provide him full security on his visit to the province for raising funds.
To a question, he said MQM was neither angry before nor it is now. “The demand of replacing IG Sindh or CCPO is inappropriate,” he added. He also said that the Prime Minister has telephoned MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and removed his reservations.
