Two women paraded without dress in Muzaffargarh.

Two middle aged women were allegedly paraded without dress in a village in Pakistan's Punjab province following a dispute over a proposed marriage, police officials said on Wednesday.

The women – Sakina and Samina – on Wednesday filed a complaint at Khan Ghar police station in Muzaffargarh
district, 400km from Lahore.

They said a person named Irfan Ahmad and his accomplices had assaulted them and then paraded them naked in the streets on Tuesday.

Sakina said she and Samina had gone to Ahmad's house to ask him to marry his daughter Nabila to Sakina's son Shoaib.

Sakina alleged that Ahmad became infuriated during the discussions and started beating them.
