Fatima Bhutto (Sindh)

Fatima Bhutto was born on 29th May, 1982 in Kabul, Afghanistan where his father Mir Murtaza Bhutto (Late) was living in exile. She is the niece of the former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto (Shaheed). She got her early education in Damascus. Syria.  In 1993 she came to Pakistan along with her mother Ghunwa Bhutto and younger brother Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Junior to participate in the election campaign of her father.

Fatima is the author of two books, a volume of poetry published when she was 15 years old in her father’s memory a year after his death called ” Whispers of  the Desert “  and a collection of first hand survivor’s accounts from the October 8, 2005 earthquake in Pakistan entitled ” 8:50 am ” Both were published by Oxford University Press.

After coming to Pakistan she did her “O” Level from Karachi American School and later in 2004 she did her graduation with excellent grades from Columbia University, USA. Her major of graduation was “Spoken Languages of Middle East”.

She did her Masters in “South Asian Government and Politics” from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Fatima Bhutto currently writes for Jang group of publication and her articles are often published in “The News” and “Jang”. She is so fond of social work and the miserable conditions of women in Sindh jails are the special interest of her.

She regularly visits the Women Jails of Larkana. She is in consistent contact and worried about the people living in the slums of Karachi.





Moonis Elahi (Punjab)
Moonis Elahi is a 3rd generation politician. He is the elder son of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi former Chief Minister of Punjab, nephew of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and grandson of  Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi who was a very prominent politician of his time.

Moonis Elahi was born on 12th April 1976 at Lahore. He studied at Lahore American School till 11th grade and from there he moved to the London American School. He then went on to pursue a degree in business from Wharton School of Business, Pennsylvania, USA and graduated from there in 1999. He had to return to Pakistan when (then) Pakistan Army Chief of Staff took power on 12 October 1999.
Moonis Elahi is inspired by the leadership acumen of the father of the nation, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and rates him as the best leader Pakistan ever had. He is extremely concerned about the lack of leadership at all levels as well as the deteriorating law and order situation in the country but thinks that the major and most important problem of our beloved homeland is the poor economic condition which is directly responsible for all the ills.  According to him, the economy of the country can only be improved by enhancing the standard of education, plugging technological gaps, addressing extremism and other social problems which Pakistan is confronting today.

Moonis Elahi took part in the general election held on 18th February 2008 for the first time and contested from two provincial constituencies. He got narrowly defeated from Lahore PP-152 and won with an overwhelming majority from his native seat PP-110 Gujrat.
On the international horizon, he is inspired by the leadership of Lee Kuan Yew, Mahathir Mohammad and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and rates them as very successful mavericks for their nations. For him Barak Obama’s historic rise to the pinnacle of power and glory holds great political significance for the world.
He is also impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication of Abdul Sattar Edhi (World renowned Pakistani social activist and philanthropist) in the social sector and in bringing about relief to common people. But he adds that transparency in relief operations is extremely important for their credibility.
His interests include reading, which is his favorite pastime. Books on history and political science are his favorite among other variety of topics. He likes to read the biographies of successful leaders and their contributions to their nations. Lee Kuan Yew father of Singapore and Lee Iacocca are few to quote.

Syeda Fiza Batool Gillani (Punjab)

Syeda Fiza Batool Gillani is the eldest daughter of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani. She has done her Masters in “English literature” from Kinnard College, Lahore.  She has a sober and kind thinking for the nation of Pakistan.  She played a very active and affective role in the fund raising campaign for the IDPs.

She has special interest in writings. Her one article “A Leader with Vision” is recently published in “The News”.







Hamza Shahbaz (Punjab)

Hamza Shahbaz, is the eldest son of the current Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and nephew of ex-prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

He was born on 6 September, 1974 in Lahore and got her early education in the same city. She completed her Matriculation from the Aitcheson College and Gradation from Government College Lahore. After graduation he received the degree of Law from London School of Economics.

He faced a bitter experience of jail when he was just only 17.  After the Military coup of 1999 and the exile of Sharif family he was the only man of his family to look after his family business on Pakistan.

He participated first time in 2008 Elections and elected unopposed as Member of National Assembly from Lahore. He played an active role in Judiciary Movement.

Hamza Shahbaz is much interested in Wild Animals and especially in “Cheetha”. Like other member of Sharif’s family is also fond of local dishes. He was weighed more then 230 pounds ten years before but after so much care and dieting he succeeds to shed 100 pounds weight. He likes the sweet too much and it is always very difficult for him to now eat sweets too much.

Samia Raheel Qazi (Punjab)

MNA Samia Raheel Qazi is the daughter of Qazi Hussain Ahmed. She was born on 24th April, 1965. She did her graduation from Punjab University and Master in “Islamic Studies” from Balouchistan University.  She is the student of Doctorate from Punjab University, Lahore.

She has got the 2 years training of National Guards and now she is lecturing in many educational institutions. She is also the member of National Disaster Management Cell and many other NGOs. She was the Secretary General of students Union of Lahore College for Women, Lahore. She also has given many lectures in international conferences.

She writes for many newspapers and participates in many TV Talk Shows. Her mother tongue is “Pushto” but she enjoyed a good command in writings in English and Urdu Languages. She can also understand Arabic, Persian and Punjabi.




Usman Khan Kakar (Balouchistan)

Usman Khan Kakar is a provincial president of Pushtan Khawa Mili Awai Party and eminent leader of Balouchistan. He was born on 21st July, 1961 in district Qila Saif Ullah.

Usman Khan Kakar holds a degree of L.L.B and masters degree in economics. He started his political life during his student life in 1977 he joined the Pushtoon Khawa Mili Awami Party Students Organization. After completing his education he gets associated with Puhston Khawa Mili Awami Party and started main stream political life.

He is currently the provincial president of the party, the provincial convener of All Partied Democratic Movement and the member of convening committee of Pushtoon Khawa National Democratic Alliance.



Mir Changeez Khan Jamali (Balouchistan)

Mir Chngeez Khan Jamali is currently MNA from Naseer Abad, Balouchistan. He is the son of ex-chief minister Mir Taj Muhammad Jamali and grand son of Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali a prominent leader during the struggle of Pakistan’s independence.

Mir Chngeez Khan Jamali was born on 3rd March, 1972 in Rojan Jamali. He got his early education from Aitcheson College, Lahore. He did his FA and BA from Balouchistan University.

He practically entered in Politics in 2000. In 2002 he was elected as Nazim of Rojan Jamali Union Council and in 2004 elected as Nazim of Jhat Patt.

He was the ticket holder of PPP in 2008 Election but lost his seat from PB-26 Jaffar Abad. After the death of his father Taj Muhammad Khan Jamali he was elected un-opposed MNA from his father’s seat. He wishes to complete the mission of his late father.

Saqib Ullah Chimkani (NWFP)

Saqib Ullah Chimkani is the son of ex-speaker of NWFP assembly Hadiyat Ullah Chimkani. He earned his Master in “LAW” and “Political Science” degrees from Peshawar University.

Along with these two degrees he also got the education of Computer Sciences and Software Engineering from USA.

For long time he worked in an International organization as advisor of “Political Economy”. He elected the member of Provincial Assembly in 2008 elections.
