The Kerry-Lugar bill, the fruit which our president is bringing back home is yet another example of how fawning our leaders are, and why there is no respect for the Pakistanis abroad. We shouldn’t be complaining about the second degree treatment we get overseas and we must not whine when we are treated like criminals on the world airports, because when we accept bills like Kerry-Lugar, we deserve every insult.
We need to understand that the very notion of aid is insulting. It makes us beggars as a nation. There is no difference between taking aid as individual or taking it as a nation. Our masters have, once again, so graciously tossed over some peanuts to get us going. The US House of Representatives has reached a consensus to continue to direct US aid flows to Pakistan by approving a five-year support package of 1.5 million per annum going to 2014.
Now the benefactor is very keen to remain engaged with the slave at every level from health, education, defense, finance and social levels.
To add insult to injury, we have sold over soverenigty very cheap.
The math is simple. US spends close to 60 billion dollars every year in Afghanistan and according to Kerry Lugar Bill Pakistan is supposed to get 1.5 billion dollars a year.
