ISLAMABAD –Indian prime minister stepped back on Friday from his statement of confessing to India’s role in the disintegration of Pakistan in 1971.
According to media reports, Indian prime minister has barred his lower cadre from delivering provocative statements against Pakistan.
Indian prime minister had stated on his visit to Bangladesh that India had supported Mokhte Bahni’s movement in 1971 to disintegrate Pakistan.
The issue further aggravated when the lower cadre of Modi’s government started to challenge Pakistan’s integrity through their provocative statements.
Indian information minister had also threatened that India could go beyond their border to hunt down terrorists and extremists which were threatening India’s survival.
However, the experts opined that the motive behind such statements could be to impede China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), adding that India stepped back due to Pakistan’s categorical response on Diplomatic level.
