Pakistani media is creating all the hubbub in the world following the queue from the international media about the kidnepping of a british child in Pakistan. Editorials are being written in the newspapers and it has become a hot topic in the talkshows and anchorpersons of all the breeds are having a go at it.
Yes, the things are bad and Pakistan’s law and order breakdown is colossal and there is no writ of the government and corruption have become order of the day. Pakistanis suffer through it on daily basis. But why the abduction of a british child is a high-profile case for the media and why not the daily abduction of thosuands of children across Pakistan?
It’s sad indeed that a 6 year kid was kidnepped from Jehlum, but why not also highlight the Pakistani kids in the same bracket? This shows another hypocrisy by our media.
